Pierrefonds, September 26, 2023 - Uniciti International Education Hub (UIEH), a major player in the field of education and innovation, announced today its strategic partnership with FutureLearn, a global leading online learning platform based in the United Kingdom that collaborates with universities and organisations to offer a range of career-focused online courses, programs, and degrees.


Since its founding in 2012, FutureLearn has been dedicated to expanding access to education, offering a diverse range of over 1800 courses, including short courses, professional accreditations, degrees, and higher-level qualifications. The platform has attracted a community of over 18 million learners worldwide, with an average of 3.5 million monthly website visits.

Starting today, UIEH provides access to the FutureLearn platform, offering a diverse selection of courses tailored to meet the evolving needs of professionals in the region.

The launch ceremony brought together key stakeholders, including UIEH’s and Medine leadership team, strategic partners, and distinguished guests such as the Acting British High Commissioner to Mauritius, H.E Jamie Scattergood, as well as representatives from education ministries, including the Higher Education Commission and the Mauritius Qualifications Authority.

This strategic partnership with FutureLearn, whose mission is to accelerate professional growth through online courses from over 260 universities, influential organisations, and renowned partners, embodies UIEH's vision of providing quality learning opportunities. 

UIEH has partnered with FutureLearn, a digital educational platform offering over 1,800 online courses from leading UK universities and institutions. The platform is open to everyone.
